Under the structure of the company, 17 branches and 2 cotton processing plants located in the Saatly and Ujar regions are operating. The Saatly Cotton Processing Plant has an annual capacity of processing 20,000 tons of raw cotton, while the Ucar Cotton Processing Plant has the capacity to process 40,000 tons annually. The company’s branches operate in the regions of Salyan, Aghdam, Aghsu, Zardab, Barda, Fuzuli, Hajigabul, Sabirabad, Saatly, Aghjabadi, Bilasuvar, Ujar, Kurdamir, Beylagan, Yevlakh, Imishli, and Neftchala. The total number of employees working at “P-Agro” LLC is 906.
The company’s balance sheet includes 1,903 modern agricultural machinery units for cotton planting and cultivation, among them 118 units of “Belarus 1221” tractors, 230 units of “Belarus 80-X” tractors, 2 units of “Belarus 892” tractors, 1 unit of “Belarus 82.1” tractor, and 541 tractor trailers.
In line with the “State Program on the Development of Cotton Growing in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2017-2022,” “P-Agro” LLC planted cotton on 24,000 hectares of land in 2018, resulting in the procurement of over 36,000 tons of raw cotton. For the 2019 season, the company planned to plant cotton on 19,000 hectares of irrigated and arable land.
“P-Agro” LLC operates extensively in cotton growing across various regions of the country. Within a short period, 180.2 tons of cotton were delivered to the Aghsu collection point, while all efforts were mobilized to ensure loss-free harvesting in the Lengebiz, Chaparli, and Arabmehdi areas. The harvesting process envisaged the collection of cotton from 400 hectares using cotton-picking combines, and 3 such combines were fully prepared for operation.
In the Imishli region, within the framework of cooperation, cotton was harvested in a short time, with a total yield of 22-23 thousand tons targeted. In Aghjabadi, under agreements with “P-Agro” LLC, cotton was planted on 1,420 hectares, and after defoliation, combines were allocated for mechanical harvesting. In Beylagan, cotton was cultivated on 820 hectares, while in Zardab, out of 272.3 tons of cotton harvested, 45.4 tons were procured by “P-Agro” LLC.
