Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is the world’s largest international programme supporting sustainability, social welfare, and environmental protection in cotton production. Its main goal is to help farmers adopt environmentally friendly, socially fair, and economically sustainable farming practices.

Currently, Azerbaijan is in the process of becoming a Better Cotton country member, and within this framework, steps are being taken towards implementing BCI principles.
