About the Company
Ceyhan Tohumculuk was founded in 2007 by agricultural engineer Fatih Mehmet Karataş. The founder brought his experience from global seed giants like Deltapine (USA) and May Tohumculuk (Turkey) to the Ceyhan brand. Today, the company has become a leading regional force in cotton seed breeding, production, delinting, and export.
In 2023, Turkey's largest cotton breeding project was launched. Within the framework of the project, intensive work is being carried out on 113 new cotton crossing combinations and hundreds of new lines (F1, F2, F4).
In our laboratory, which started operating in 2024, seeds undergo quality control in accordance with world standards. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, our factory has the capacity to process over 5000 tons of seed annually.
In our laboratory equipped with HVI (High Volume Instrument) technology, fiber length, strength, color, and other parameters are measured in accordance with international standards.
R&D and production processes are managed by specialists with 30 years of experience in cotton breeding, quality control, and international trade.

Our varieties are fully adapted to the climate conditions of Azerbaijan and yield excellent results as the primary crop.
In line with sustainable agriculture principles, our drought and salinity tolerant varieties save water resources while increasing farmers' profitability.
In 2025, it is planned to produce up to 750 tons of high-quality seed from seed multiplication plots spanning 500 hectares.
